Yesterday we visited Notre Dame, the Seine River, and then last night we went to the Eiffel tower. Our group got a lot closer over a few bottles of wine and we also met new French friends. We also got to crowd surf down a line of very intoxicated people, it was too much fun. I got proposed to by a french man, accepted and got married (but don’t worry Mom, I got it annulled). All in all, it was a successful night.
Today we walked to the Luxembourg Gardens and Palace, and wandered around Paris for a few hours. The parks here are phenomenal! And people actually use the parks and hang out there and such. It’s absolutely splendid. In the Luxembourg Gardens a really young french boy (about 2 or 3 years old) played soccer with Asa and then started kicking and throwing the ball at the rest of us (Kat, Maxie, Michael, Jason, and I). He was beyond precious and I wanted to take him home with us. We just hung out and lounged in the grass overlooking the gardens, ponds and the palace; it was peaceful and a nice  way to spend the day.
